filming weddings and special events all over MA?
70% of weddings being outdoor or beach weddings?
$150 per event, with an average of 1-2 events weekly?
extra if i have to drive there? extra if i help with the editing?
THIS IS MY DREAM JOB!! I AM SO FREAKIN' EXCITED I CAN'T EVEN PUT IT INTO WORDS!!
i'm meeting with the company on saturday, filming a wedding in hudson, MA, and figuring out if this is something im interested in.
so far, it sounds perfect! what a great way to spend Halloween!!
this is the exact pick-me-up i needed this week =)
"I wish I could tell you
the things I never got the chance to
I wish I was with you now
to see you smile again
I wish we had more time
but time goes by so fast
And If I had one wish
I Wouldn't ask for money
I wouldn't ask for fame
I wouldn't ask for the power to
make this world change
If i could have one thing
that one thing that I would chose
is one more ordinary day with you..."
I miss you every day, Benji. <3
my gpa went uo from a 2.26 to a 3.12.
soo happy!
so far this semester i have a 4.0. yeahhhhh. =)
guess who got promoted today to shift leader at Dunkin Donuts?!
SO PUMPED.
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH I AM SO HAPPY RIGHT NOW!!!!!!
that is the first time one of my favorites has EVER won on american idol!
thanks to not falling for "The Curse of Joel Osborne" hahahaha.
12 million votes over david archuletta.
both are fabulous, i'd be happy if david a. won, too.
and at first, i thought david cook would be better off NOT winning,
because i thought the american idol label would change him.
but hearing his single, i changed my mind. its still him.
it still had the david cook sound.
they're both going to be extremely successful...
BUT MY DAVEY COOK WON!
AAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH
my just ordered a new cell phone online because i didn't have an E-Bay account,
and when i said i'd pay him back tomorrow night he said,
"Nah, it's on me - consider it part of your graduation present."
BEST DAD EVER AWARD!
it was on teen suicide, and i only used two sources.
and barely even used though.
i basically wrote five pages on things i learned in peer counseling.
i'm thanking miss poulton tomorrow! haha =]
"Sometimes i wish i was invisible, baby
I'd stand in the doorway, you're driving me crazy
with every simple natural thing that you do.
Sometimes I wish that I could disappear,
so baby without you knowing i'm here
I could fall in love all over again with you.
'Cuz when you're all alone, and
you don't know that I'm watching,
You're so beautiful,
sometimes I wish I was invisible."
<3333333333
what. the. hell.
I just got this email from the Fan Club 'Gracinites':
"Its here, the moment you all been waiting for! My album titled We Weren't Crazy will be released April 1st. There's just one catch - Lyric Street will only be doing a Limited Release of 80,000 to a 100,000 albums in the store. I have no doubt with the great fans I have that those will go fast! Its up to all of you to show Lyric Street that I have a place in Country Music. If you can't find it in stores around your area for whatever reason, you will be able to download it off I tunes. Please pass the word! It's up to all of you and I know you've never let me down. I can't tell you all enough how much I appreciate all of you.
May GOD BLESS ALL OF YOU and SHINE HIS WONDER ON ME in the weeks to come!
Thank You
Josh G."
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.
I CAN'T WAIT. I'M GETTING ONE OF THOSE COPIES.
THE FIRST COPY! =]
probably one of the best movies of all time.
and the best food of all time, too! =]
erica from work and i were talking about all the different kinds of macaroni and cheese we like,
and the conversation probably lasted a good 20 minutes. no joke.
basically, we're mac and cheese addicts.
i decided that i love community service so far.
as much of a pain as it is to just copy papers, over and over and over again,
i just love being in the memorial school.
it makes me miss being little again.
they're all so cute and innocent.
mrs fanning and mrs hickey are both wicked nice, too.
and leaving MHS 45 minutes early is always a big plus!
i also love being in the PC room.
i also love finding quotes like this:
"best friends are like fairy tales...
they've been there since once upon a
time & they'll be there til happily ever after."
and this one:
"True Friends always have words of encouragement,
Love you unconditionally, faults and all.
Keep your secrets under lock and key.
Light up your life when you're in the dark.
Know laughter can be the best medicine.
Are never far apart even though oceans may come between them.
Weather the storm until you find the rainbow."
and i love that my mom told me today that she loves my josh gracin shirt.
and i love that she's letting me pick 10 songs i want played at the wedding,
9 of which will probably be josh ones. =]
and i just love life.
but i should probably edit my portfolio write up now...
peace out, boy scout.
oh, and ps - lunch today was probably the funniest thing in the entire world.
ADRIENNE LEE OSBORNE IS OFFICIALLY A LICENSED DRIVER!!!
thank god. its about time!!!!
my horoscope on facebook is like, "you'll have some downtime soon. go with it. don't think you always have to do so much!"
i just cried at the mighty mites game.
it was my last game with them - EVER!!!
if i can't even handle saying bye to a bunch of little kids i've only known for two years, how am i going to say bye to my friends this year when we all leave for college? especially the ones i've known most of my life.
i'm already hating how senior year is full of "lasts".
*In kindergarten your idea of a good friend was the person who let you have the red crayon when all that was left was the ugly black one.
* In first grade your idea of a good friend was the person who went to the bathroom with you and held your hand as you walked through the scary halls.
*In second grade your idea of a good friend was the person who helped you stand up to the class bully.
*In third grade your idea of a good friend was the person who shared their lunch with you when you forgot yours on the bus.
*In fourth grade your idea of a good friend was the person who was willing to switch square dancing partners in gym so you wouldn't have to be stuck do-si-do-ing with Nasty Nick or Smelly Susan.
* In fifth grade your idea of a friend was the person who saved a seat on the back of the bus for you.
*In sixth grade your idea of a friend was the person who went up to Nick or Susan, your new crush, and asked them to dance with you, so that if they said no you wouldn't have to be embarrassed.
*In seventh grade your idea of a friend was the person who let you copy the social studies homework from the night before that you had.
*In eighth grade your idea of a good friend was the person who helped you pack up your stuffed animals and old baseball but didn't laugh at you when you finished and broke out into tears.
* In ninth grade your idea of a good friend was the person who would go to a party thrown by a senior so you wouldn't wind up being the only freshman there.
*In tenth grade your idea of a good friend was the person who changed their schedule so you would have someone to sit with at lunch.
*In eleventh grade your idea of a good friend was the person who gave you rides in their new car, convinced your parents that you shouldn't be grounded, consoled you when you broke up with Nick or Susan, and found you a date to the prom.
*In twelfth grade your idea of a good friend was the person who helped you pick out a college/university, assured you that you would get into that college/university, helped you deal with your parents who were having a hard time adjusting to the idea of letting you go.
*At graduation your idea of a good friend was the person who was crying on the inside but managed the biggest smile one could give as they congratulated you.
*The summer after twelfth grade your idea of a good friend was the person who helped you clean up the bottles from that party, helped you sneak out of the house when you just couldn't deal with your parents, assured you that now that you and Nick or you and Susan were back together, you could make it through anything, helped you pack up for university and just silently hugged you as you looked through blurry eyes at 18 years of memories you were leaving behind, and finally on those last days of childhood, went out of their way to give you reassurance that you would make it in college as well as you had these past 18 years, and most importantly sent you off to college knowing you were loved.
*Now, your idea of a good friend is s till the person who gives you the
better of the two choices, holds your hand when you're scared, helps you fight off those who try to take advantage of you, thinks of you at times when you are not there, reminds you of what you have forgotten, helps you put the past behind you but understands when you need to hold on to it a little longer, stays with you so that you have confidence, goes out of their way to make time for you, helps you clear up your mistakes, helps you deal with pressure from others, smiles for you when they are sad, helps you become a better person, and most importantly loves you!
So, thank you for being a friend. No matter where we go or who we become, never forget who helped us get there.
There's never a wrong time to pick up a phone or send a message telling your friends how much you miss them or how much you love them.
You know who you are, pass it on to someone who you want to remind.
If you love someone, tell them.
Remember always to say what you mean.
Never be afraid to express yourself. Take this opportunity to tell
someone what they mean to you. Seize the day and have no regrets.
Most importantly, stay close to your friends and family, for they have helped make you the person that you are today and are what it's all about anyway. Pass this along to your friends. Let it make a difference in your day and theirs.
Hey! Hey! Everyone! I got an email from Josh Gracin!!
Okay, so everyone in the fan club did. but its still exciting:
Hey everyone! Thank you all for being patient. It's been a while since there was any news on what's coming up for me. There is a lot to be excited about in the coming months. I have recently finished recording my album with a new producer, Brett James. Soon we will be kicking off a radio tour from now through September to promote the launch of the new single. I'm very excited about where I'm at in my life. Thanks to all of you who still enjoy my music and have been coming to the shows. The new single as well as the new album will have been worth the wait, I promise. There is something I want you all to know. The past year has been a major learning experience for me, but with the help of my fans and country music radio, the new single and album will surely be a success! There will be a new website, a new street team, and a renewed fire within my camp, which includes you, the fans, and Lyric Street Records. With your help and the support of country radio, I will continue doing what I love to do…giving all of you ONE HELL OF A COUNTRY SHOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-Josh
